What are the tents like?
Each tent is outfitted with heated beds, a desk with a chair and mirror, as well as a rack to hang clothing.
Outside each tent is a campfire. You can pick up wood from the Mendocino camp store.
What are the bathrooms like?
There are two large communal bath houses on campus. Both are outfitted with shampoo, conditioner, and towels.
There is also a sauna at the main bath house!
Where can I get ready for the ceremony?
We will have two large “getting ready” tents for those who require more space and amenities than the communal bathhouses. These will have floor-length mirrors, extra hair dryers, and more table space for makeup.

A Note On Weather
September in Mendocino offers beautiful weather, with daytime highs around 70°F and cooler evenings dipping to about 55°F. Part of the California coast’s charm is its occasional unpredictability — it’s all part of the rugged beauty we love. We expect a warm ceremony, but as the sun sets, temperatures can drop. While there will be heaters and bonfires during dinner and dancing, we recommend dressing in layers and bringing a jacket to stay comfortable throughout the celebration.
Friday & Saturday Morning
Campsite Casual
Friday will be a relaxed evening of dinner and s’mores under the stars. Think cozy layers, flannels and jeans. Spend Saturday morning exploring Mendocino’s coast and redwoods. Casual, comfortable clothes and walking shoes are perfect.
Saturday Ceremony
Forest Formal
For the ceremony, we’re asking for Forest Formal attire — formal wear inspired by the beauty of the natural world.
What does Forest Formal mean? Think rich, nature-inspired colors and textures: jewel tones like emerald, rust, and gold, flowing fabrics, and luxe materials like velvet or satin. Feel free to add a hint of magic — a subtle shimmer, a floral pattern, or an accessory that nods to the forest setting. We recommend wedges or thicker heels, as you’ll be walking across grass to reach the ceremony space.

Join us for dinner in the meadow followed by bonfires, drinks, & s’mores.
Saturday 9.13

Coffee & light breakfast in the meadow.
10:00am | Activities
Choose your own adventure! We’ll have various activities like a river plunge, short nature walk, and hill sprints (for Hanna) planned. We also encourage folks to explore the town of Mendocino!
4:30pm | Ceremony
Meet us on the forest deck for our wedding ceremony.
5:00pm | Cocktail Hour & Reception
Gather in the meadows for family style meal and speeches. Dancing to follow.
11:00pm | After Party
